If we can’t be together, we can still create together!

We can't quite do our usual First Friday ArtWalk events due to social distancing. But we sure would like to create with you! Help us create a new ballet in real time over the inter webs!

We will be creating on Zoom and Facebook Live on June 5th (First Friday) from 6:00 to 8:00pm PDT - come make a dance from the comfort of your own home featuring former #instaballet and current Nevada Ballet Theatre and Ballet 120 dancer, Emma McGirr!

Please use the Zoom link below to join us! Or watch the live feed on #instaballet’s Facebook page or #instaballet’s youtube channel

At #instaballet it is our deepest hope to make ballet and creativity accessible to all. And we recognize that racial inequality and racism lie deep in the fabric of our society and that includes the ballet world. All people deserve to feel welcomed and included in the world of ballet. We wish to be an ally for BIPOC dancers and audience members alike. As we continue to reshape the way ballet is presented, we are here to listen, learn, love, and support. Black Lives Matter.
