🎉 We have MORE exciting news to celebrate! Thank you to the Oregon Cultural Trust for awarding #instaballet $15,055 to support our Life Skills Outreach Collaboration with Lane Education Service District! 💜 This funding will help us bring 10 free, onsite dance workshops to students with disabilities in Eugene-Springfield Life Skills classrooms. Lane Education Service District has asked for more #instaballet as public school budget cuts continue to limit enrichment opportunities for students. We’re so excited to be able to meet that need and bring more movement, creativity, and connection into the classroom. Each workshop is co-designed with Lane Education Service District and supported onsite by occupational therapists, physical therapists, ASL interpreters, and educational assistants to make the experience accessible and meaningful for every student. We’re so grateful to the Oregon Cultural Trust for helping make this work possible and for investing in access to the arts for these students in our community. ✨

Okay, but why does the trademark actually matter? 🤔 For us, it’s about more than protecting a name. #instaballet has become its own thing: a unique approach to dance, creativity, and community that we’ve spent years building. The trademark gives us a stronger foundation as we grow and helps protect the identity we’ve created along the way. And honestly, it’s also a pretty exciting sign of what’s ahead. We’re looking at new programs, new partnerships, and new ways to bring #instaballet to more people. ☺️ Swipe through for a little more on why this milestone matters. ❤️
A milestone years in the making. And a little reminder of just how far we’ve come. ❤️ We’re so proud to share that #instaballet is officially federally trademarked! What started as a creative vision has grown into something bigger than we could have imagined. This milestone represents the artistry, dedication, and community that have brought #instaballet to life, and the people who continue to believe in what we do. Protecting our name means protecting the work, creativity, and identity we’ve built together. It’s also a meaningful step toward the future, giving us a stronger foundation to grow our programs, build new partnerships, and share #instaballet with even more communities. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. This is your milestone, too. Here’s to everything we’ve created together, and all the possibilities ahead. ✨
A little something official has been in the works behind the scenes…And soon, #instaballet will have something new to its name. 👀 Can you guess what it is? Stay tuned. ✨

A huge thank you to the amazing community partners who helped make our last #instaballet of the season so special ❤️ ✨ Harvest Valley Electric as the official event sponsor 🩰 Eugene Ballet for providing the flooring 🎭 St. Vincent de Paul for the costumes 🍷 Capitello Wines for generously donating the use of their space We truly couldn’t do what we do without the businesses and organizations who show up for the local arts and help us create these one-of-a-kind nights. And of course, thank you to everyone who came out, created with us, and helped bring the whole thing to life. We love this community. ❤️
From rehearsal to performance 🎶 Live music makes an #instaballet extra special 🤩 The audience gets to help shape the dance, but they’re also helping shape the music as it’s being created. Nothing is totally locked in, which means we get to listen, react, take some chances, and see where it goes. That’s kind of the magic of it 🙂‍↔️ A little behind-the-scenes peek at our last #instaballet at @capitellowines for @laneartscouncil First Friday ArtWalk, with Jeremy Wegner + Ben Latorraca. ✨
