There’s an art to figuring it out together. Listening, responding, and building something collectively that no one person could create alone. Before each #instaballet, we gather to explore ideas, create a few movement phrases, and collaborate with musicians. But once the #instaballet begins, the audience becomes the choreographer. Their suggestions, choices, and energy shape the theme, story, and direction of the piece, making each #instaballet a one-of-a-kind experience that is created live and collectively in real time. For the past 3 weeks, #instaballet has been dancing and creating with the children at both Eugene and Springfield Relief Nursery locations ✨ Yesterday marked our final workshop together, exploring the theme of nature through movement, imagination, and joy. This video captures our intro choreo ❤️ And the sweetest ending: a handmade bouquet gifted to us by the children, created from treasures they found outside. Truly the most special flowers of all 💐 Thank you, Relief Nursery, for welcoming us into your spaces and hearts to #createtogether ✨
